Fiesta 1.4 tdci wont start p0193
Hi,
Got a fiesta 2006, 1.4 tdci.
It wont start but cranks over.
Sprayed carb cleaner in and it started straight away. Went to try start it aftrr turning it off without using carb cleaner and it wouldnt start again.
Plugged it in and got code p0193 fuel pressure sensor high input.
When it was running it didnt run lumpy, but didn smoke a bit under load/foot down..
Removed air filter housing to have a quick look and couldn't see any obvious fuel leaks, however the first few presses of the primer seems to have air bubbles in the pipe after it. They then go away though after a few more presses.
Haven't checked the sensor wire yet as need to remove battery I think.
Any obvious things I should check?
Thinking of fitting new fuel filter encase its that.
And.....no ecu light came up on the dash. but the p0193 was a strored code.
