Default Decat 1.8 zetec

Quick question I hope someone knows the answer to...

On a mk1 Focus 1.8 zetec, will the engine still fuel correctly with a decat?

I know I have post and pre cat hegos but not sure if the post cat controls fueling in any way?

No the post cat sensor just monitors the output from the cat. It doesn't alter the fuelling in any way but will bring the management light on and put it in to limp mode when it realises the cat is no longer there.

Thanks for the quick reply matey, so it's probably better off left alone then! Would a MIL eliminator do the job, I've not had any experience with using them before.
Back when I spunked loads on my motors I had a decat on my Mk2 Focus ST, made a noticeable difference, MIL came on but it ran fine.
I know it won't make much (if any) difference de-cating an N/A motor but should sound better!

Don't bother. As long as the cat isn't blocked or anything you aren't going to gain anything.
