Default 2002 Fusion All Spark Plugs Swimming In Oil

Just bought the Mrs a 2002 1.4 Fusion about 3 weeks ago then the engine management light comes on a couple of days ago and car lost power, I've just got around to having a look at it and all 4 spark plugs are swimming in oil.

Does this mean there's something amiss in the rocker box rather than piston rings or something as I would think it would be a hell of a coincidence that they all went together.

wonder if the rocker cover has failed around the spark plug area. Would certainly be cheaper to replace and check before internal engine work

Is that something that would affect all 4? Been searching around on the internet but not getting anywhere fast.
I think I'll take off the rocker cover and see, as you said it's the cheaper option and hopefully the right one, the car only cost £500 so ain't gonna be forking out silly money on it.
My first thought was piston rings but for all 4 to go at exactly the same time? Surely not. I hope anyway.

It'll be the cam cover gasket, almost all of them do it, it's not something I would be too concerned about. Just clean up the oil and fit a new gasket if you wish.
