Default Radiator help

Hi,

I have purchased a new radiator for my Cosworth, however, there are issues...

I noticed the new one did not have the mounts on top, which would be used to fix it to the intercooler.

For this reason, it has considerable movement, I have seen others mention this in threads on here, I wasn't happy with this, but proceeded anyway.

When checking everything was ok prior to starting up, I noticed the swirl pot now fouls the pulley on the steering pump.

I suspected the dimensions may be different, so compared them and the new one is considerably shorter, for this reason I suspect the top hose outlet is lower.

Have I got a dud radiator, or has anyone experienced this before?

So far I have spent most of the weekend so far, not with having to find new fixings for the fans as well, so any input would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Martin

Any ideas with this would be great, so far I have only had one reply!

I have now got clearance on the pulley, but the radiator is still extremely loose, as such I would not be happy driving it.

I suspect brackets to fix it to the I/C would help.

This must be an issue that others have had, as I have checked and the aftermarket ones are all of the same design?

Just need to know someone who makes brackets, which I can then use to support it?
