Ford Focus 2010 Bonnet Lock Broken
Hi all!
So, I've been battling away with the lock on my bonnet as I seem to have been affected by the common problem where the lock mechanism breaks... I tried the screwdriver through the grill trick and had no success. Earlier tonight I had the shields off the bottom of the car and tried to reach up and grab the casing around where the cable from the lock goes into, but it doesn't seem possible (I even have tiny hands!).
I'm now left pretty stumped and starting to think that I might have to pay the insane amount for a garage to fix it.
Is there something else I need to remove once I'm under the car to get a better look at the lock? I saw people saying to remove two bolts to bring the whole lock house up with the bonnet but I couldn't for the life of me figure out where these bolts were!
Any help would be appreciated!
