Default headgasket choice and o-ringing?

hey,

I've got a 3.1liter cologne xr4i (2.8 base block) which i am rebuilding. And im running into some issues.

i ordered a headgasket set and got a diffrent one. The assisted me to use this set because of the qaulity etc.

The set didn't fit all and some gaskets were made of the most unlogical materials.

What is a good headgasket set to use?

Also my block is o-ringed with copper wire 1mmthick. What kind of copper wire is being used for these applications and where can i get it?

Ferriday Engineering in the UK do various ringing and copper gasket setups. Not the same as what you're describing, but they may be able to offer assistance

I'd always try and use OEM quality brands, Payen, Reinz etc
