New coilovers/suspension arms, strange feeling?
Firstly.....Sorry its not a Ford! This is a VW Passat 2001 TDI.
A friend of mine fitted some brand new FK Coilovers (front and rear) and upper control suspension arms earlier.
Took the car out, felt fine....Nice and tight.
I gave it a little bit of acceleration and could feel this 'brrrrrrrr' feeling through the steering wheel (excuse terminology, only way I can think how to describe it!) On heavy throttle the brrrrrr feeling got worse, got up to 70mph and I felt rather nervous as did not know what it could be so took my foot off the accelerator and it went.....Light throttle it will not make this feeling through the steering wheel..... Any ideas??
