Cosworth 4x4 pf09 tps setting up
Hi after some help, had an issue with my old wiring loom which had rubbed through somewhere and was giving my tps a reading off 11.4 volts. Changed the loom for a good used one and having trouble setting the tps voltages up. With the wiring disconnected it reads 4.5volts and if I connect the tps up it reads the same unless I loosen the screws holding it on to the throttle body then it goes to 0volts and will smoothly go upto 4.5v as I increase throttle. I've tried another spare pf09 sensor and it does exactly the same. I can't tighten the screws on the tps all the way as it jumps straight to 4.5volts. I tried running the car with the tps reading 0volts and it was idling at 1200 when warm. I'm pretty sure I've read the pf09 shouldn't read 0volts at idle and should be around 0.5volts. I've tried turning the tps to get it reading 0.5 volts but it won't go above 0. Can't figure out what's going on
Any help appreciated

should be around 0.5v at idle position going up fairly smoothly to 4-4.5v at full throttle
mine sits so its got a very small preload when the throttle is closed if that makes sense,
