HI all

can anyone help

i have a MK1 focus rs running about 370 BHP

it has uprated stat housing (DPC)
lower temp thermostat
uprated radiator (auto specialists)
stakk water temp guage

when it warms up it will be at 80 degrees
but then will go up to 100-110 even though not driven hard
if i put heating on will come back down to 80 deprees

is this right what temp should these car run saftley at

I wouldn't worry, mines the same and I've had it since 2004.
They just run on the hot side from what I gather.
You could try some of that wetter water stuff, might help a little, I've heard a few people say it makes a bit of a difference.

Don't worry to much the scan gauge takes its temp from the head so the temps will be slightly higher than normal and they do run hot I had mine 6years and that's the readings I get

i not going off scan gauge i got a stakk water temp gauge plumed direct in to
thermostat housing
