Default ST170 Idle issues

Hi everyone

I hope someone can help, i have an st170 that is having idle issue, it is idil'ing high, about 1Krpm where it used to be 800rpm. Also if i rev it and then let of the accelerator it goes down to 1.8Krm, stays there for a second or two then goes back to 1Krpm.

I had the Idle control valve code pop up, so i replaced the unit for one off Ebay, i was assured it was working fine, but it is still coming up with the same problem and the light is still on, although it looks like it is pulling back at start up and staying back till 5k rpm.

does anyone have any ideas? seems a bit strange that both units are doing exactly the same thing.

Cheers
Jay

Did you reset the ECU after fitting the new ISCV?
