it was very much a case of useing what was available . The pipe size does come up to the size off the throttle body and intake manifold but only 12 inches before throttle body and to be honest I'm very much on the limits of boost with the standerd engine I was very much split between using a 6 psi or 9 psi spring in the end went for the 9 so if this happens to slightly lower boost by 1 or 2 psi this wouldn't be a bad thing

I would have thought it would drop by a few psi tbh and it prob" won't make the engine
Feel as sharp
Surely for next to nothing you can get a smaller throttle
Which in turn should help the whole performance ?

So just a bit update cars been to Henry Roy for a 2nd remap after sitech maped it ! Still a few problems tho iv fitted a new wastgate with 8-9psi spring maping took a fair time due to sitech have maped it via tps rather than map sensor even tho it had a 3bar one fitted so after all was running better we done first power run !! Problem was my wastgate was open at 3psi not 9psi ! I can only think they sent the wrong one . So Henry had a bit look around the workshop and found another spring that fitted we had no idea what psi it was but it was deffy stronger than the one fitted so swaped them over and done another power run . This time we got about 5.3 psi still way below what I was looking to boost but dident have anymore springs so wasent much more we could do but Henry assured me this was plenty for my standerd SILVERTOP and would be night and day difference I wasent so sure !!! So top bhp @ the wheels is now 155bhp 147torque only 21 more bhp than it was on carbs seemed a bit pointless to be honest ! So today I managed to get it out on a back road for a wee road test couldent give it much tho as I run about 5 degrees of camber and my sump and bellhousing sits 35mm abouve ground but was he RIGHT it's way way faster running sweet as f""k ! The thing Henry kept puting over was forget about the top numbers look more at when your geting it . So very pleased with it and doing it all with only just over 5psi the only thing I don't realy agree with Henry on was calculation he uses to work out flywheel bhp he recons 155@ wheels is 205.8 flywheel seems at bit much to me I reacon more like 185 to 190 bhp but that's nearher here nor there .
But what I'm wandering is if in a few months I feel I could do with another 2or3 psi can I just add that or would it need a remap keeping in mind I do have access to a dyno so can check AFR and so on ?
I'll post dyno graph
