hi all hoping someone has done this and it has worked or knows 100% if can be done,

I have been told by several people that the bare engine of a mk3 2.0he mondeo engine would fit a mk6 fiesta st and that would just need to use manifolds etc from fiesta.
have also heard may need to swap sumps but other than this should fit

wondered if anyone here has done this or would be able to confirm?

Both are 2.0 litre duratecs, so in theory it should fit. The ST engine may have different cams.

thanks Jim, a friend of mines mate is breaking a mondeo so I can have the bare engine for half the price of what can find fiesta ones advertised for just wasn't sure if any of you knew as I know some very clever people who know a lot of things on here
