RS Turbo MFI Wiring Help
Hi guys, stuck on two bits of my wiring on my conversion. The green wire that goes to the supressor by the coil, one comes from ECU straight to coil, then one comes from coil to supressor then where does the green wire go?
Also I got one wire coming out of the ECU plug, its green and brown and its just in my loom spare. I cant find the pin numbers on the ECU plug so its hard for me to find any info about it? Is there a diagram of the plugs with numbers?
Thanks!

Im reading it as : Connect the Black and Green wires on RS Turbo loom onto the XR2 coil wiring as well?
Also it says fuel pump + on the pink relay, is that the fuel pump feed or does it connect to a fuel pump feed I add?

I believe you have parts of my old set up. The fuel pump positive on the pink relay runs to the pump, usually you tuck it up behind where your ankles would be if sitting in the back seat, up in the recess underneath. You need a wire through the car and under the back seat and through one of the grommets. Make sure you use the same thickness wire as that on the pink relay as it will probably melt or catch a thin wire on fire.
Coil wise and this is only from memory the spare green you have goes to the coil iirc I just wrapped it around the thread and put the cap back on over it, think it was for the rev counter. But it was 6 years ago I wired it in. When I sold it, I labelled every wire so I didn't make two much of a mental note, hope it helps
Also the spare green and brown, is it really long? If it is I think it went somewhere on the front of the bay, I remember one wire running round washer bottle side and to the front.

Hi mate, yes the green and brown is really long.. Ill try wiring it as I think and go from there.. Hopefully it will all be ok. I bought it all off the guy who bought it off you. Most of it was labelled but half water had washed ink off!

My old motor yeh no problems whatsoever, ran well and went well, only ran it one show season did no more than 800-1000 mile, then just sat for 4 years in the car in the garage, turned over every couple of months and always run fine and started after 3 primes of the fuel pump. When you start her, put dash light on so pump primes then turn ignition off wait 10 secs prime again, until you hear it take the strain.

No ran a manual boot controller, had a boost gauge under the dash and was standard 9psi ish. Don't run the chipped ecu, (I've never run it on the chipped one but did at one point consider upgrading the set up) it's not been set up for it, I had the metering head set up and tuned by a local garage who is in to series 1s as his hobby, so he took a special interest in it.

Yeh that looks like the one, some don't come with the fitting on the end. You just need a banjo fitting for the end of it, some where like demon tweaks or eBay.
