Losing power
Hi all recently bought a 2009 mondeo zetec tdi the problem is the car is losing power when driving in excess of 70 mph when this happens the ESP sensor warning light comes on and the engine malfunction wearing light comes on.When this happens once I drop down the gears and reduce speed both warning lights clear and the car drives as normal.I have had the car back with the garage twice the first time the diagnostics said it was a software update needed on the injectors this was done but didn't solve the problem. The second time the diagnostics said it was a fuel pump regulator fault the regulator was changed. This seemed to solve the problem as the car drove for about 3 weeks at speeds of 70 mph and over but the problem has since happen again would really appreciate some feed back on this problem if any of you could help as the car is due back with the garage this week thanks

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I would start by reading the fault codes again.
Possibly this needs to be done when the problem exists (when the warning lights are on).
