Default 2wd cosworth no spark

Got a 2wd sierra cosworth i'm building, been on hold for a couple of years, now trying to do some more but will not start.

Cranks over fuel ok, but no spark, power to coil, any ideas,

Tried a couple of things, different coil checked wiring, not had to much time but would like to get it running before i do any more.

Just looking for some ideas, battery is well charged all plugs and cables in place.

thanks

You have more than one issue, the power to the coil will not be affected by the CPS!

Is the immobilizer disarmed?

That needs to change then, re the immobilizer, you almost certainly won't get insured without one!

So if you have power to the ECU, then the next place to look would be the CPS, but like I say the power issue is an independent problem!

I removed the old immobiliser as it wasnt approved and playing up, been running fine since, a new system and tracker will be installed before it goes back on the road.

Will try crank sensor next then thanks.

The first thing to do is to restore power to the coil.

After some digging found the problem.

The wiring by the ecu where the relays are has a little fuse, that had blown replaced it and now running fine.

So thanks for any advice, will now crack on and get the thing on the road for next spring.
