Hello guys, i own a p100 in cyprus it a 1,8td,
the whether is hot and overheated i crack 3 cylinder head of my engine, and i dont find parts in cyprus, my thoughts are tha put a more common engine for parts and not overheat, any ideas?

pinto also fitted into ford transit,
escort / mondeo /focus 1.8 zetec
+ mondeo and focus use 2litre zetec,
they are fuel injection units so many wires are needed,
but you can convert to carbs

pinto requires very little electric wiring, , engine mounts will be simple to find
and they were carb engines so inlet manifolds with carbs will be cheapest
L4 engine and zetec require more parts , but very good units
the commonest ford engine in the scrapyard is possibly the cheapest
