track controll arms

Default track controll arms

im trying to put the suspension back on my 3 door sierra cosworth, if i put the track controll arms on first i cant get the antiroll bat to fit its to wide, if i put one track control arm on then the anti roll bar a cant get the other track control arm to line up its about one inch out i cant push it in far enough, whats the correct way to do it

you can attatch a ratchet strap to close up the bar gaps
so slot the arms on first that's possibly easiest 1 man method

i"ve just done my first one in years-last i did was on a 2.8 i a few decades ago-its a real pain on your own-i used a ratchet strap as above-you could use decent quality nylon rope with a bar as a spainish windlass affair[wind to tighten] also
just persevere and you will get there

if you get one side in with the nuts and bolts still loose, then go to the side you cant get in, put the wheel on and turn it on full lock, it will push it in, if it dosnt, go on the other lock, pushes in easy, pull the wheel hard, just need to line it up and knock bolt in

had a go at it today with a racket strap and it did the job so the front is done, just got to put the back axle back on when i get the beam back from the blasters
