I've snapped the top off my oil level dipstick and can't remember what one it is to buy a new one, my engine has the fiesta/escort si sump to allow to fit in my mk5 fiesta, (do I use the dipstick compatible with the sump or with the engine)
I'm pretty sure I've used the fiesta/escort oil dipstick and tube

As the engine(donated from a mondeo) is the same as the mk1 focus Rs would One of these dipstick be ok? Will I need the tube aswell or are all/most ford dipsticks the same length,

Bit worried as oil level as you all know is a critical thing and don't want to waste money buying wrong parts lol

I'll check the length of the new one with the old one anyway just to be on the safe side.
