Rst into bonus shell- cutting holes
Yea I know the thread title is odd!!
Well finally started to but bit back on my mk 4 bonus shell. As it's not a n erst shell some of the holes in the engine bay are not drilled out, examples include ecus and the hole for the washer bottle. The shell is actually an early mk 4 whereas my erst was 90 spec. Could someone give me a steer as to the best way of drilling holes in a freshly painted shell? Also what's the best way to cut out the hole for the washer bottle neck??

Put masking paper on the panel you want to drill which will stop the paint chipping. Mark where you want the hole, lightly mark it with a hammer and punch, drill a small pilot hole then step the hole out to the desired size. Then, touch the paint up afterward to stop it rusting.
Washer hole, I'd use a Dremel with a cut-off disc in.
