mk 4 rst mfi over fueling
hi i am crrently bald due to scratching my head for so long my series 2 rst will not start im gettin way to much fuel ive changed the metering head but still loads of fuel plugs are drowned please help

going sideways in a fwd
under the air filter check the brass disc moves freely, with ignition off
then with ignition on push flap very briefly should hear the injectors whine
then remove spark plugs completely and tuck leads towards servo number them first if you know they are in the correct positions lay a rag over the spark plug holes,
but not plugging them, just catching any petrol splashes you might get shortly
then remove fuel relay crank for 10 seconds clearing the cylinders of fuel,
sling the rag out the way , let the vapours die down ,
give it 10 minutes or so leave fuel relay disconnected then plug in spark plugs and check all spark by cranking report back

on the rear of engine left hand side . if your facing engine there is a white wiring plug goin to thermo time switch . check.that sensor is in good working order. you can buy these from motor sport developments.

changed yellow plug on inlet still no good if i unbolt cold start sensor it doent spray any fuel i removed my injectors and they all seem to fire out fuel in sequence but there seems to be a awfull amount of fuel spray out
