Fiesta Zetec 2006 1.6tdci oil filter
Daft question, but I've looked everywhere under the car but I can't locate the oil filter to do an oil change! There has to be one, any ideas PLEASE....

Yep, 27mm hex on a plastic cap.
Need to remove the intake hose from front panel & turbo intake hose to access it.
The filter element has a peg on the bottom, this must locate in a hole in the alloy housing.

It's above where the gearbox and engine meet. It sticks out at an angle towards the passenger side.
The thick rubber pipe from the front panel, it's under that.

This is a later engine, but the filter is in the same place, can see it angled away from the engine, next to the flywheel/clutch. Black domed cap.

Thanks GVK for taking time out to post photos. Really appreciate that mate. As soon as it stops raining I have the confidence now to get it sorted. Will post again with comments when I've completed it. No wonder I couldn't see it from underneath !!
