Cosworth Oil Temps
I was hoping you may be able to give me some advice regarding Oil temps on my Cosworth powered race car.
Whilst racing it last year at Oulton and at Combe I became aware that the Oil Temps were up to about 130 Degrees Celsius. Water Temp was a Steady 95 degrees Celsius and when lifting off after the Chequered flag quickly returned to 85 degrees.
Should I be concerned by the Oil Temps ?
The car has a Sandwiched oil cooler / inter cooler / radiator and the cooler is first in line
Any advice/thoughts or experiences on this subject would be appreciated
Picture to illustrate the position of the cooling setup (I haven't got any stationery stills of the front)
Cheers Ian
