Default Help on pinto turbo please

Hi just quick question, I've got a turbo technics sierra and have read somewhere that I shouldn't fit a dump valve? As messes up air. Flow meter?

This is probably correct, with MFI systems this is true.

Is yours carb fed?

Had a twin piston on mine and it works. Down side was when driving about 70mph the valve was opening and closing as it was just on boost. Caused very bad fuel consumption. Changed to a recirc dump valve, all works fine now
