PassionFord Post Whore!!
3 cats on these, one on each bank then main one underneath, Y pipe has to be removed first.
No labour times on ETIS for the pre-cats, just 0.3hrs (18 mins) for the main cat..
Yeh,fine if the nuts don't need heating up etc..

This must be different to the one you guys have done it has 2 cats each one comes directly off each manifold then the have there own flexi front pipes the front one was easy enough to get to but the rear was a bastard ! I had to remove the inlet manifold to expose the 3 studs then underneath I had to remove the heat shields wich wasn't easy then there is one really awkward bolt that holds the cat to the engine I've read in other places that its an engine out job ?

I haven't done any on a mk3, did a few on mk1 Mondeo V6s when they had a recall back in the day, they were a bitch as they fitted direct to the head (pre-cats were part of the manifold)
I just looked at ETIS, but no labour time on there listed for the pre-cats.
No mention of engine removal, just intake manifold for RH cat.
