Default Siemens injector in yb fitting problems

Just fitted my Siemens 83lbs injectors in my Cosworth but have a problem. Thought they were direct fit so fitted them straight in the inlet but I know have a gap between the inlet and the bottom of the ejector body.

Sometimes you have to push them in quite hard. Have you heard them click/clonk in?

Yeah pushed them in all the way but then when u bolt the rail on and put the clips on it pulls them out a little bit, couple of mm.

I was told I need washers between the inlet and injector but I'm not sure where to get these washers/spacers? But I thought these were direct replacement?

Looking at the picture the o ring seems to be fully home in the manifold and since your running a standard rail with securing clips the injector can't move so should be fine.
The problem comes when running billet rails without the clips where the injector can move out, in that case you have to fit a washer to stop them from moving.

My concern is the gap. Thinking maybe possibility of leaking? Their in an rs500 inlet but that shouldn't be any different?
