Default Engine Block Cleaning- oil ways etc..

Now then folks!

Finally got my block black from the engineer. Now the plan is to paint it this weekend although i was wondering how people clean the block inside?

I've doused the block in Carb cleaner and cleaned as much as i could and blew out with a compressor but there's still bits of swarf and dried oil inside the oil ways etc.

How do people clean / wash their block? Really don't want to put it back together while there's contamination floating around in the oil.

Any advice would be great!

Pressure washer everything! Take out the ball bearing at the rear of the block (long piece of steel rod an a hammer from the front) and all of the core plugs at the front and pressure wash (plain water) through.
