The engine management light in my 3 door is on. no effect on performance but when driving I can hear a relay chattering under the dash passenger side.

I should get the code read and see if its logged a fault , but its the chattering comeing from the dash that is bothering me.

Anyone know what this might be.

Its the yellow relay under the dash that's clicking, anyone know what this controls .

That will be either an ecu or fuel pump relay. Make sure the connections are secure and check for faulty wiring just in case.

is the engine on the standard chip ?

I got it sorted, I removed all the sensors and gave them a clean with switch cleaner and out went the light.
