Default Cossie Engine Loom Resistnace Results

Have just finished going over the loom for resistance. A mate at work said anything over 2.0 you should be looking into why. Is he right?????

Here's my readings I have got.



(SENSOR, ECU PIN, RESISTANCE) (INFO)


TPS 11 1.0

TPS 17 1.0

TPS 30 1.0



MAP 15 1.2

MAP 11 1.1

MAP 30 1.1



INJ 1 35 0.8

INJ 1 20 0.8

INJ 2 32 0.9

INJ 2 20 0.8

INJ 3 33 0.9

INJ 3 20 0.8

INJ 4 18 0.8

INJ 4 20 1.1 (With wire break temporarily fixed)



ACT 31 0.7

ACT 11 0.8



CRANK 3 0.8

CRANK 4 0.9



ISCV 34 1.1 (Only Just) (Could go to 1.7)

ISCV 20 0.8



KNOCK SENSOR 22 1.7 (Connection Needs a Clean)

KNOCK SENSOR 6 0.9 (1 of 4 pin Connections Missing)



PHASE 5 0.9

PHASE 23 0.9



ECT 29 0.9

ECT 11 0.8



LAMBDA 2 1.0

LAMBDA RELAY 1.0

LAMBDA GROUND 0.9



AMAL Vv 16 0.9

AMAL Vv RELAY 1.0



IGN MODULE 25 0.9

IGN MODULE 24 0.8

IGN MODULE (TO ALL IGN AMP CONNECTIONS FOR WASTD SPARK) 0.9

IGN MODULE GROUND 0.8

IGN MODULE LAMBDA 0.9



Do these readings seem ok to you guys?????

Seams like a good loom, yeh you shouldn't be seeing anything above 2.0ohms unless you have a thicker gauge wire in the loom, or the wire runs twice the length of the car, or a fault

Thicker gauge wire has less resistance!
