Default removing my mk4 crank pulley

Think i posted in wrong section..
Want to change cambelt but can't remove the lower crank pulley.. I've undone the bolt but can't shift the pulley... Any ideas

I got the pulley loose but I can't seem to pull it out because it touches the crossmember which doesn't allow it to move enough.

I'm doing this in a 1.6 CVH engine, and I expected it to be possible with the engine in place.

Any tips ?

Drop the engine on the crank side so the pulley is below the leg

I was being silly as it wasn't the crossmember in the way, it was actually a plastic splash guard under the engine.

How stuff is much easier during the day and when you jack the car up
