Default Help please! Does anyone know what engine this is?

Just bought this and wondered if anyone on here knows what it is? was told it could be a silver top but unsure?

If that's still in the original car and tha lac of pas it might be an xr2i or rs1800. So 105 or 130

Well it's definitely a zetec! And 99.9% sure it's a series one (silver top). Your best bet is take the manifold off it'll be easier to see.

This is the thing. On the plastic charge carrier over the cam cover, there's usually a silver sticker that says 105ps or 130ps. Yours has ford racing. But to say it has the HO inlet manifold and the DOHC cam cover, I'd go for 1.8 130. But if its been played with then it could be anything tbh.

theres a silver sticker under the ford racing sticker but nothing left on it

Lol!!!! I bought a cabby once and the sticker was silver and someone had wrote in marker pen "1.6 ????????" I took the manifold off and it was a 2.0
