All 1.6 cranks are the same. 1.4 has different size bores and is useless for a 1600 build

So there is no difference between the cranks
What about if my bores are no good in the turbo block what about getting the 1.4 block bored to the 1.6 size which is 79.?? And the 1.4 is 77.?? Would I be able to do that

Only difference is the oil pump drive on an 81 spec crank, but you won't find one of them so don't worry.

No chance of the 1.4 block holding a plus 2mm, and even if it did I don't think the deck height is the same. Proper 1.6 blocks aren't hard to find, even an n/a one would do
