Cosworth Only 0.2 bar boost
got my cossy running in my mk 2 escort, but on the boost gauge im only getting 0.2 bar boost.
Is it a question of adjust the actuator or amal valve problem?

pressure test the inlet system first my guess is there is a boost leak somewhere, check all the connections specially the throttle body one it's easy to fit it with the bottom section not over the throttle body correctly

when you tap the throttle can you hear the amal valve clicking?
if it stays permanently off, you will only have that much boost, i.e. if the ecu thinks something is wrong

There's no load on the engine though.
Can it be driven? If so.. drive it and see what you get.
I don't think you'll get boost with it driving in mid-air.

I don't think you can get boost without load on the engine (ie stationary or in mid air) happy to be proven wrong though.
