Roof Aerial

How do I replace my broken roof aerial. Ford Escort MK VI. It is the base i need to replace as bottom of aerial ( the screw part ) has broken in half.

I think you have to get to it through the interior light. If you prise it open you should be able to get to the nut holding it in place

Thanks, 90 % correct. Interior light is in the middle of the roof. But there is a removal plate, between the sun visors.

dead simple job as stated, on later models a torx screw
