Default Rover turbo fuel rail adapter

I want to change the normal fuel pressure regulator on my rover turbo inlet
But i can't find a suitable one,

I have the fuel rail with the regulator on the end of the rail ( black plastic one )

Or are there other options that will do the job

The only ones i found are these one, but the look to long ?

U could fit a fiesta rs turbo fpr, just drill and tap the plastic one to fit. If you do it right it won't crack. Or look for a metal rt fuel rail.

I've just bought a astra vxr fuel rail. Not sure how its gonna pan out yet but I'm sure it can be done

I can imagine!! Just mark the holes up and be careful when drilling and threading, then it won't break

Depends what spec ur running tbh. I'm sure they're good for up to 300bhp. Or u could go for the focus rs fuel rail and fpr! Only a slight trimming of the brackets to fit it

With the frst fpr it's a rising rate item so u shouldn't need to mess around with it. You could check ur fuel pump. What ecu u got? Is it mappable?

i have fitted a diffrent head with bigger inlets/ outlets, polished ports, and port matched
Other cams, rover turbo inlet from crazycage, frst blue injectors.

on the normal rs1800 it did just fine, now with the upgrades it's running low on fuel, when going to higher revs
idle is fine, 14.7 ratio.. a little bit low..would do better with 12.7/1 air/fuel ratio

Don't forget ur running a cosworth pump, turbo injectors, turbo fpr on a N/A engine and ecu! The injectors flow more fuel and in a different pattern, but your ecu is telling them to fuel in a N/A fashion. It'll run a load better going back to standard injectors and fpr IMO.

injectors from a rs1800 are diffrent ( side feed ) the frst ones are almost the same as the rs1800 ones
frp is also complete diffrent in mounting pattern ( into the fuel rail )
But you got a point there....

Bang some zetec 1.8 top feed injectors in the rover inlet manifold and run a zetec fuel rail with attached fpr and I guarantee it will fuel and run so much better!

Focus mk1 1.8 around 2000 model. I've personally tested these injectors and fuel rail on the rover inlet and they fit. The fuel rail will want slight trim on the mounting brackets but it will all go in snug and look oem
