ESC Module availability
I am guessing the answer to my first question is scrappy/ebay...
My little Mk4 Escort Eclipse is miss firing and not picking up sporadically after about 30 mins of driving (but even this is not the car at times...) Fuel is fine, good plugs and leads new coil pack and CPS fitted last year. I am pretty sure the only thing that could be giving grief is the ESC. I have changed this a good few years ago for one I found on ebay and has been fine up until last week.
So my first question is this. Are the ESCs still available from Ford? I have emailed them but I haven't heard anything as yet.
Also if they are not available new anymore does any one know of a substitute or supersession? I know a lot of guys are using them when going from EFI to carbs.
I have heard of Mergasquirt and Megajolt but I am guessing these are used in conjunction with ESCs and also EDIS mods.
As a last resort (apart from watching Ebay) Is there any way of converting the current system.
Thanks in advance

Esc is before edis. Basically just another kind of ignition module Richie.
In answer to the OPs question, yeah scrappy or ebay for an esc, look for banger racing etc, the banger boys love esc.
Megajolt uses edis but no esc, edis modules are easier to find, you can get fully tested/refurbed ones of the net easy, and there's millions in breakers.
Nodiz on the other hand has it owns drivers and modules internally and will run a coil pack straight out of the box
