Escort RS Turbo fuelling issue...
Anyone help??
I have a S2 RS Turbo engine in my mk3 cabriolet and I have an issue with the fuelling system. Every time I approach a junction or turn a corner the car slews to a stop. If I fill the tank right up there isnt a problem however, run the fuel down to half a tank and thats when the problem begins. Now that problem usually is cured by "get a swirl-pot tank fitted" its had two and still no difference. I have renewed all the kinked fuelling lines from the metering head, fitted braided hosing under the car from pump to engine bay, renewed all the fuel return lines, fitted new pump, fuel filter, new tank with swirl pot, checked the metering head and now Im still at a loss....
By the way its got nothing fancy on it, hearts and diamonds unchipped ecu, standard cooler, running around 12 psi boost...
Any ideas???
