Hi ,

I have a 1997 ford escort cabriolet.It has been dry stored over winter as it is every winter.
I have never had a problem with the power hood until now.I cannot hear any power going to the motor when I press the button to lower the hood.
The battery was flat when I got the car out of storage and I have noticed that the fluid level is very low in the hoods motor but I am not sure that would be the reason for no power going to the motor.
Any ideas as to what I can try? maybe a fuse? fingers crossed that's all it is.
The hood is also manual but I have checked that the turn key is in the right position for power hood.
If I should check the fuse then where is the fuse that I need to check?
Silly questions but I have no idea

relays and fuses drivers side kickplate and passenger side rear light check ignition wiring as well roof inhibitor is wired to it

IF your directing your comment about piss take to me I suggest you wind your neck in cos I wasn't just a bit of light banter also IF I don't know the answer to the problem how could I help HER??? you knew the answer so that's where YOU helped HER out lol
