Cylinder misfire
Hello
Wondered if anyone can help with my focus issue, it's an 02 1.8 petrol Zetec, I've taken it to three garages so far and none of their suggestions have worked so i'm hoping someone here may be able to.
It's running quite badly and judders a fair bit, especially when cold. My engine management light comes on (flashing intermittently) – code P0301.
The first said to change the ht leads, coil leads and spark plugs so I did that. Problem still not solved, the second garage said it will be dodgy ht leads, so again I replaced them once again, no joy.
The third suggested the injector, so that’s been replaced and once again its still the same.
Has anyone had this problem before or could suggest anything?
Much appreciated.
Lau

I take it by coil leads you mean the coil pack?
Also try swapping two of the leads around then two of the spark plugs and see if the fault code changes to another cylinder. Were all the items you replaced new?
