escort van exhaust help please.
Hi people,
My escort van exhaust has just spapped, broken off just before the first join, so only the manifold part needed I think?
Question is,how hard will it be to get the bolts fixing into the block out? Any tips and help, I don't want to take to a mechanic.
I have tourqe bar and socket set, only the jack that comes with the van, will this do?
Any help would be great fellas!
Cheers

I'm Finding My Feet Here Now
I know the exhaust has snapped, but run it so its hot, get riggers gloves on and take it off that way.
Hot metal comes apart much easier than cold rusted metal.
Just a suggestion mate.

Am I right in thinking the manifold stays fixed to the block and the downpipe bolts to it.
So I only need the front section, down pipe which fixes to manifold?
Cheers
