Default Focus 2007 1.8 tdci engine rattle

I want to try and make this as concise as possible for anyone to help me.

I have a 2007 tdci focus 52k on the clock and FSH. It has developed a rattle and I'm not 100% sure if it has done it since using engine flush or not but its just something I traced back and thought maybe related, the noise is also loudest when the engine is hot. No obvious power loss, excessive smoke, etc.

The sound is almost a bearing sort of sound like a tensioner, however I have replaced the aux belt and tensioner (and ran it without the belt on ) and it still does the noise.

Also tried another oil change to be sure (less than 500 miles since last full service).

I have also just had the cambelt and tensioner replaced, and it's still doing it.

When ford listened to it, they said its most likely either of this things, I have tried listening with a stethoscope and I can only say it sounds loudest at the left hand side of the engine.

Please can anyone suggest what the noise could be ? The only sort of moving this on that side I can think of left is the chain that runs the fuel pump? Can anyone tell me a little more about the setup and whether this could be the noise, does it have guides or a tensioner that could be noisey also ?

Here is a video, if your tuned into the rattle u can hear it at idle, but you will most likely hear it at the higher revs as they drop

Please please help me I have spent lots of money so far and not even cured it !

Probably the chain. Least you didn't kill it with the engine flush! That's like engine suicide in a tin. Probably washed all the oil out of the tensioner

Yeah thought I was doing good but obviously not, never had an issue before in any engine of any mileage using flush, and like I said I can't say 100% whether it was this or not that started it. The only thing is The issue is less of a tick or rattle that is expect from a chain, and it is more noticeable once the engine is hot, I thought chains would be more noisey when cold before the oil has got round them ?

I was under the impression that the chain is very short and has an excellent track record and never snapped, if possible is there any guide to doing this as I can't see it in the Haynes fairytale book, and not sure just how labour intensive is, my other understanding is that the chain is not timed. I'm so livid!

Took it to a ford specialist, they updated the software cleared the codes and I took it out for a good long drive stopped and started multiple times, was all good !

Left on drive for 2 hours, went to start and died 3 times, real pig to get going about 10 mins or so. Took it back at it had flagged up fuel pressure (although no fault was on the dash or any lights that shouldn't be), now It being leak back tested so I guess I will have to await the results.. I'm so cheesed off after all I've tried, maybe I should of ragged the crap out of it like I have every other car I owned, they very rarely went wrong ! Treat this one like a baby and now look lol.. Does anyone have any suggestions ? It started on the key from stone cold in the morning.
