we have a 2008 transit 2.4tdci here sounding very poorly came in running on 2 cylinders (1&4) accompanied by copious ammounts of white smoke when plugged in it was registering pressure faults on 2&3 so injectors were swapped and coded from another van to test the other van still ran fine with these supposedly duff injectors but this 1 still remained running on 1&4so injectors themselves should be fine as were running sweet in the other van bu no change are these prone for electrical gremlims that could cause it to not send the injector pulse to 2 out of 4 injectors as when a leak off test was performed with the original injectors and these new ones 2&3 are chucking out double??? confused

any ideas??

Have you done a compression test on the engine?
