Hi, I'm from PL and my english is poor I write because in Poland don't have people, who have knowledge about FORD. If I picked wrong department, please transfer. I have Ford Mondeo Mk3 2001, 1.8 Duratec He 110HP and I dont want change my car, but i want a little more power (about 130-140 HP). I know that I can raise the engine power to the limit of 140HP by replacing camshaft. Difference between 1.8 110HP and 1.8 125HP apparently is in camshaft and program. Is that true ? I have camshaft from Duratec 2.0. He look just like from my 1.8, but cams have 42mm (my 38.4millimeters). Can i use camshaft from 2.0 Duratec? Since it is the possible to mount in my 1.8. How much is the tolerance with the cam in my 1.8 Duratec ? I ask, because i can roll camshaft into the desired size. Thanks to this, I do not need to exchange additional mechanical things, just the program itself. Please be merciful to me. Thanks in advance for your help.
