Replacing the turbo seems to be a nightmare. Half way there.... any tipa on how to get the turbo out after its all been taken apart? Remove sub frame or ........ .?

Depends on what tools ya got, in some cases I use a jack and a bit of wood under the engine, remove the engine mount and wedge the engine away from the bulk head,

Thats what I was thinking. Its probly the easiest way of doing it. Once changed Il have no engine managment light on will I? What it was the car was running on its own egine oil. Would go nuts if u boosted it. And sometimes ul knock ignition off and the engine still be running. Could feel the bearing inside the old turbo were shattered so hoping this new turbo will do the trick

I knew the old pug hdi's use to do that, first I've heard of it for a long time, if its sending oil and unburnt diesel back through the inlet it sounds pheasable
