cosworth 4x4 knocking noise
Any help please. My 4x4 cosworth has developed a knock and vibrating noise under the driver’s side. It only happens when I hit 70mph and carries on thereafter. I have taken the wheels off and it is sat on axle stands at the front, whilst sat in neutral i can turn the driveshaft via the brake disc. When it reaches a certain point the transfer box moves from side to side, would this happen if there is no load on the front end, or should they turn smoothly without any load. I have removed one side of the drive at the front and now the other side turns smoothly, any suggestions please

not checked that yet i was just wondering if i am looking to deep, will the drive shafts move the transfer housing side to side if no load was applied i.e front wheels removed, and the lower arm assemblies just sitting there with no load from the car. as the drive shaft sit at quite a steep angle in this position would the bearing seat correctly in the housing, if not would it cause this, side to side movement when turning the shafts?
