Default 2WD wont start after resto!!!!!

Ok here's the back story so far. The engine ,ecu and engine loom are from my last car which i broke so i know there ok , ive changes to braided fuel lines, GRP A ign and ign loom , fuel pump is new (044) With aftermarket loom . I I have power to the fuel pump and it primes when the ign is turned on and when cranking. i have a spark and fresh motorcraft 071 plugs . new tank with fresh fuel . I'm deffo getting fuel up to the reg but past that i dont know. I have 12V at the injectors but still the fecking thing wont start . I've yet to check power to the ECU and have look like i have a relay missing at the back of the fues box (far left at the back ) if anyone can comfirm what it is or if its blank anyways that wod be great . I usually love fault finding but it's starting to feck me off now ive been chasing it all day . any sugestions would be great . cheers Al

You need a switched earth from the ECU to fire the injectors mate have you checked for that the +12v is from the fuse box

Im sure you will find the supply voltage is from that relay and the switched earth is direct from the ECU, thats the one thats opens the injector to allow the fuel to pass though

You say you're getting fuel to the reg, just checking, you haven't been silly and got the feed and return the wrong way around? The fuel reaches the regulator after its been past the injectors, so there should be fuel coming out of the bottom of it, not out of the pipe that goes to the bottom of it.

This ^^, the injectors ground are switched via the ECU, your ECU has power by the fact the pump primes, likewise as is your injector supply!

I would check the phase sensor and make sure you have not misconnected this and the CPS.

phase sensor is ok as i have tested it . there is deffo no output for the injectors . they have power but obviously arnt reciving a signal to fire . so out with the loom it is ,I'll test it and see where i go from there .
