hi, wanting to turn my 5spd rs2000 4x4 box into a 6spd, is this possible using the st170 6spd guts and linkage? with a bit of tweaking!

if it is possible was also thinking of implanting the engine from one too for bigger tuning potential.

still want to keep 4x4 though.

If you want good power and keep your 4x4 set up then build/buy a zetec turbo 300-350bhp fit quaif diff in your box and your away!

what if the gears were hardened, as i dont think quaiffe do a kit for the t.box, but ive been looking at flame hardening this could be a possibillity, as it only seems to be the smaller gears inside that shred there teeth. this was one reason for not turboing it and lookin at superchargers. ive got some spare boxes so iam not worried if i do blow one or two. has anyone had one tried to do the transfer boxes?
