hi there folks.
im new to t forum and was wanting some help
ive recently bought a ford focus 1.8 collections edition to runaround in while my capri 3.0s gets fixed and was wondering what sort of mods i could do to the focus to make it quicker and sound better and maybe even put a bodykit on it .shes standard at the moment .any advice or do's nd dont's thnks robb

focus st170 exhaust manifold and a de-cat pipe to match and a cat back exhaust which wil give some more power and sound and a quick fix for more power is buy a 2.0 block and swap it for you 1.8 block after that your looking for cams ect..

you already have a body kit on the car in fact the only one better is the focus rs which is an easy fix done on the fron but not cheap and really not cheap on the rear as you have to remove the whole rear wings.

also on looks if you car is a mk1 (ie the indercators are in the front bumper) then buy some focus st170 headlights.

why don't you just change the whole engine for a 2 litre focus engine much more better and easier than fucking about with bits and bobs from the ST170 and just fit the ST170 front bumper (with fog lights) and clear side repeaters job done

Thats why i said change it from the 1.8 to the 2.0 and the st170 manifold is cheap with good gains.
also st170 bumper is just a stock mk1.5 bumper and the collection front bumper is much better looking hence why quite a few people with mk1s and mk1.5s swap there bumpers for collection items
