Default Ford Focus ST170 Isofix solution.

Help please, looking for a bracket or a kit so that i can use an Isofix child seat in the back of my ST170.

I have contacted Ford and they said that there isn't one available.

Does anyone know where i could possible buy a retrofit one or if there is a non genuine one out there to buy.

Thanks

It's not in the list of compatible cars but i guess it may fit.

I did see this one and contacted the seller but he never got back to me. Also it says its for 2005 - 2010 and mines a 2003.

Any ideas if this can be done and would i need to drill holes to fit them?

Had a look under the seats and found 2 holes with blanking grommets in them. Are these the ones used to fix the Isofix bracket? They seem to be a bit further back than i thought they would be.

Also only found these holes under the rear drivers side only. Does anyone know what size bolts would fit? Thanks

I can confirm that a Mk2 Isofix bracket fitted my ST170. Just check under the rear seat behind the driver for 2 holes with blanking plugs.

This was very easy to fit but had to remove the rear seat to tighten the 2 new bolts which cam with the kit.

The rear seat was easy to remove and required 4 bolts.

Also no modifying required.
