2003 diesel mondeo glow light

2003 diesel mondeo glow light
i know there are a lot off posts on the net about this but cant seem to find the answer to my question
i have a 03 mondeo diesel (130)
when you put ya foot down or put it under load the glow light flashes engine cuts out turn off on and its ok till next time and so on now today iv noticed the diesel is leaking over the engine bay i cant quite find out were from but if its a split pipe or pump could this cause the light to come on due to looseing presure on the rail or am i barking up the wrong tree any help advise or suggestions would be a great help
