That'll be the GT28 then! But a GT Series turbo will be the most expensive, but by far the best also! Shall be getting one myself shortly

You have few choices then, cheapest is a t34, then t38, but will have more lag but moor room for scope, or top dolla gt28, speak to who ever is doing your mapping and see wat they recommend.

a standard t34 with a 360 deg wet floating bearing will be laggier than a roller bearing version end off

If you had a t against gt for spool and (lag) back to back you would be hard pushed to tell the differences,
Then you got to factor in the reliability of a roller bearing, the cost of repairing it, having to water cool it and so on.
As for a gtx it's got a 11 blade billet wheel there for more moves more air.

the garret results are in the link above mate u dopnt have to water cool a t series roller bearing converted turbo !!!! you do on a gt and a t series wet floating bearing would be far less effiiceint than a roller bearing as the garret web site shows
and when i use cr turbos the cost of rebuilding a roller bearing turbo is peanutts

If boost threshold is all its about then yea carry on, but I think for the money joe blogs off the street is better off with a bogo t series,
If the op is wanting to do it on a budget and wants a really low boost target then I would be getting a frs gt25
